My name is Jacob Wolf, and I am a Junior, two-way Midfielder at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, SC. I was born in Charleston, SC, and have lived in Annapolis, MD and Greensboro, NC, before my family finally settled down in Irmo, SC in 2018. My mom is an elementary school teacher, and my dad works in law enforcement (hence all the moves.)
I came to lacrosse a little later than most and was persuaded by some of my football buddies at Dutch Fork. I grew up playing basketball and football but have since given them both up to concentrate on lacrosse. I played point guard for several travel basketball programs in Annapolis and Greensboro and played quarterback in Greensboro and defensive back at Dutch Fork High School.
I have played Varsity Lacrosse at Dutch Fork since my Freshman year and have started at Defensive Midfield, Offensive Midfield, and Attack. My passion is running the offense like a point guard and finding the open look for a goal. I am always one of the smallest on the field, but what I lack in size, I make up with my quickness. I’m a hard worker and am normally the first on the field and the last off. I live in the gym and my current maxes are 225lb bench and 315lb squat.
I have decided one thing as I go into college and that is that I want to continue my passion of playing lacrosse. I am still undecided regarding my major but am leaning towards business or communications. I have always juggled athletics and academics well, and currently have a 3.9 GPA. If you are looking for a student of the game, and someone that will never be out worked then I look forward to having the chance to continue my lacrosse career at your College or University.
