I started playing lacrosse in the 5th grade. It was a new sport in South Carolina and coming from football, the high intensity and physicality appealed to me. I continued playing both sports through my sophomore year and was a member/linebacker of the football team for two consecutive 5A state championships.Through hard work and practice I saw that I can lock down my man in the South Carolina 5A lacrosse state championship. It showed me that my training and dedication of putting in extra reps on the field and in the weight room can propel me towards my goal of being a collegiate lacrosse player.
I enjoy doing activities with my team. During the year we volunteer together at the Lowman Home Senior Living and Epworth Children's Home. I like working with my team, especially the younger players who are new to the sport. Also I volunteer at an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Majors I am interested in are in the sports medicine field. My goal is to one day own a gym and train others to achieve their physical/mental goals.
