Marcus Speiser '27 Recruiting Profile

I aim to be a good son, a good brother, and a good friend to the people around me. I try to spend time with my trusty dog Brownie and my happy little cousin Maverick who lives nearby. I have never minded doing the hard work, putting in the extra practice or extra running in order to be able to go out and play my best - and win. 

If you, Coach, will give me a chance to show you what I can do for your team, I will bring this same mentality to your team. I will do the work, I'll show up early, stay late and put up the grades to keep my spot. I'll push the people in front of me, and I'll give everyone else something to chase - and by doing it - I will make your team better as well. 

I have played on great teams and not so great teams - but I have never let up on any of them. I am proud to say that if someone is going to get the best of me, they need to play every second from whistle to whistle or I will eventually find a way to get the better of them. 

I don't get ready - I stay ready. If you give me a chance you will not be disappointed.
