Personal Statement

I wish to attend a top ranked college or university that not only has academic rigor but also excellent athletics. I am open to Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 programs. I am a player with a high IQ for the game and a hard worker off ball. I have good vision and am a leader on the field.  From a character perspective, I understand what if feels like to need to earn your position on the team. When I first started playing lacrosse, I struggled with the fitness portion of the sport. I overcame this and earned my spot as a High School Varsity starter as a freshman, tallying 42 goals and 26 assists in 15 games during a State Championship run. From an athletic perspective, I play multiple sports, also earning a spot as a starter on the Varsity soccer team beginning as a freshman.  From an academic standpoint, I challenge myself with multiple Honors and AP classes.  I am a National Honor Society member. I have been voted Class President my freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years.
