Jacob Robinson '17 Recruiting Profile

V3 Colligate jersey #: 71... Grassfield HS jersey #: 10... I have been playing lacrosse since the 7th grade. I was a youth and middle school football running back through 7th grade and was on the wrestling team in 8th grade. I currently play both Attack and Midfield for both my high school, and club teams. I am an honors student at Grassfield High School in Chesapeake, VA. Here, I am involved in Air Force Junior ROTC, Lacrosse, studying German, and various other volunteer/leadership positions. As a freshman, I was a starting Attackman and Captain for the Grassfield High School Lacrosse Club JV team. I give everything I have to my team; though I find it important to be successful as an individual, I find it most important to help the team be successful. I am just as comfortable feeding the ball as I am going to goal myself. I think one of my strongest attributes is my ability to see the entire field and not just what’s going on in front of me. I would not necessarily consider myself a faceoff specialist; however, I am comfortable doing face-offs if that is what the team needs. Through out this past Lacrosse season (2016) I have started at both midfield, and attack for our varsity team. Along with offense, I believe it critical to be comfortable playing good defense as well. Before I moved to Chesapeake, I played for the Stafford Lacrosse Association, and my first travel team was Toxic Lacrosse in Stafford, VA. I began playing for V3 Lacrosse on the 2017/18 Elite team in the fall of 2014. Since then, I have played in multiple tournaments; many of which were showcases , to include the Dick's Tournament of Champions in Wesley Chapel FL, along with the Terrapin Classic at the University of Maryland. I am always looking to improve my lacrosse skills by playing against good players, and learning from as many coaches as possible.
