My name is Kyle Niermann and I am a rising junior at Cosby High School in Midlothian, Virginia. I am 135 pounds / 5'11'' and have been playing for the Cosby Titans since I was in the 8th grade as their JV goalie. As a 10th grader, I was invited to join the Beta society and I am also a member of the Virginia wing of the Civil Air Patrol (an auxiliary to the US Air Force). Most recently, I was invited to join the varsity team for their division competition and had friends and parents thrilled that they had moved me up to support the team. I love playing lacrosse and being on a great team. My future goals is that I aspire to follow in my fathers footsteps and become a pilot for the USAF and then join United Airlines as a commercial pilot.
I have been playing lacrosse for the last 6 years, starting with Richmond Shock Lacrosse, later as a member of the travel team, and subsequent travel teams with the C2C Richmond 2019/2020 team for the last several years, both spring and fall. I keep up my play and practice during the year by participating in the Chesterfield Youth Lacrosse league and attending goalie camps and clinics within the state of Virginia. Most recently I completed Goalie camp with Bill Pilat in Roanoke, Virginia. Other camps and programs include Hamden-Sydney lacrosse camp for 2 years and 1 summer program at Randolph Macon. I want to find a college where I can be a great goalie and be successful in my education. I have a passion for history and am committed to being the best goalie I am able to be.
