I do know that I want to go to college although I have not narrowed down my field of interest. However, I am certain of two things: I love and want to play lacrosse for as long as I am able, and I have a strong work ethic. I have always loved lacrosse. I have always loved being a goalie. I was not one of those kids that was thrown into goal because everyone else was afraid to try it. I picked that position. I love being a leader on and off the field, and I love being that person that gets the opportunity to save that last second shot and win the game.
What really makes me much more different from other students and athletes is that I have had to work harder than everyone else to become as successful as I have. I have a learning disability and that does not, and has not, ever stopped me. It has made me work even harder to strive for success. I would never trade my learning disability because it has given me an advantage that others who do not have a disability and who things come easier to will never understand. Hard work has always been and will always be a part of every aspect of my life.
