My ultimate goal is to achieve the best education possible and put forth my best efforts to reach those goals. Club and school sports has taught me valuable lessons in teamwork and how to apply myself in adverse environments. Whether on the field or on the bench, I strive to support my teammates regardless of the final outcome. I was fortunate enough to be a part of an amazing program where, as a freshman on the varsity squad, we won our Division and advanced to the Washington State playoff's. This experienced instilled in me that while the odds may be against you being from a smaller rural program, with hard work, commitment, and sacrifice any goal is achievable.
While winning is the benchmark, building strength in personal unity is a valuable trait I will carry for life. I am driven to better my athletic skills through strenuous practice and believe being a part of multiple sports makes me a more well rounded athlete, both physically and mentally. Being a multi-sport athlete also provides flexibility. Flexibility and willingness to be used in many different positions creates more opportunities for me to be a valuable asset to a team. I apply the disciplines learned in sports to my academics focusing on not only the GPA goals, but also finding the right Field of Study that interests me. Being patient and thorough in my research of potential occupations, will help me matching the best schools with that occupation. Essentially, doing what you love produces the best results.
