I am a high-level, provincial and national rower who has competed at both levels competitively. I have four national high school (CSSRA) championship regatta medals including one national championship. I was also selected/invited and competed in the Canadian 2023 Junior (U19) World Championship team selection event. I made it to the final round of selection which only included four sweepers from across the country but I was unsuccessful in getting a seat in the junior men's pair that is being sent to the junior world championships this summer. That being said I am unofficially ranked as the #2 port in Canada. As well as competing at the national level, I have also medaled at every local (British Columbia) regatta in which I have competed. On top of competing at a high level with rowing, I have also played ice hockey for 13 years, receiving team captainship several seasons in a row. Academically I try and push myself for excellence every year. This has paid off as I have maintained a 94% average throughout high school and have received two prestigious awards from my high school, both of which focused on strong academics, athletics, and service to the school. I look to continue this grade average and increase it moving into my senior year as well as becoming a stronger student-athlete.
