I started as an athlete when I was very young. Tennis was a huge part of my life ever since I picked up my racket at the age of 7. Being an athlete for this long has made me who I am today. It's taught me discipline, self control, confidence, adversity, and so many more skills that I'll keep with me forever.
I started rowing in the spring of 2019. I was introduced into rowing through my sister as a way to diversify my athletic experience, but I soon fell in love with the sport. From April to September 2019, I was in the junior learn to row program and then the junior competitive after passing tryouts. Unfortunately my experience was cut short as I was only able to partake in only one outdoor rowing event and two indoor erging competitions. This was due to the outdoor season coming to a close and COVID-19. In the two events I participated in, I scored in 8th and 9th place.
