My name is Jasper Andreani Pandeff and I am about to start my fifth form (junior) year at the Kent School, an independent boarding school in Kent, Connecticut. In addition to Kent’s strong academics and the natural beauty of its setting, I was attracted to the school’s century-long long rowing tradition. Studying at Kent is a unique opportunity to be able to row on the Housatonic and learn from Kent’s amazing coaches.
I am proud to have made our Varsity 3V as a fourth former (sophomore) during my first year rowing and to have maintained my position in the two-seat for the entire season. I have been told that I have good technique and am “coachable”, and I am constantly working hard, including in the off season, to improve and strengthen. I am committed to doing what it takes to row in college.
Academics are very important to me. I have always been a strong student, enjoying all of my classes and subjects. In addition to schoolwork and rowing, I love to travel with my family. (I lived in Bulgaria and Italy for six years.)
