Isaac Perkins '26 Recruiting Profile

I am excited to take my rowing career to the next level in college.  I fell in love with the sport my freshman year of high school and now row year round with my high school and top club team in the D.C. area.  I am disciplined and committed to the work ethic that is necessary for rowing.  My commitment is not only the physical aspect but the mental side.  I work hard to motivate my teammates and come together to find speed in the boat.  

My goal for my 2k time is below 6:20 by the end of my junior year in high school.  In addition to my regular academic curriculum, I am also an active member of my high school's cadet corps leadership program.  The focus of this program on character and leadership has greatly helped me become a better rower and person.  I am a dedicated athlete who, if given the chance, will work as hard as I can to find great speed in the boat and motivate my team.
