I’m use to adversity and long shots. My father passed away from Cancer when I was twelve. Followed by both sets of grandparents in span of 4 years. My mother, sister and I were only family left. I auditioned to nationally ranked performing Arts middle school for Cello and was admitted. My Freshman year of HS I applied to Nationally ranked academic audition school and was accepted. I have never stopped working on bettering myself despite financial and emotional hardship. I participate in science, chess club and Econ Clubs. Taking many AP classes, while concurrently running track, cross country and rowing. I volunteer every summer with my youth group in relief effort. My rowing coach, a Canadian Champion ranked 3 in the world at one time, is my hero. His guidance and belief in me and my leadership skills and work ethic is proven through offers to coach & mentor younger rowers . Whether a double, quad or 8 man scull you are only as good as the worst rower. Team work, trust, athleticism, motivation and drive are everything necessary to succeed. I’m a young Incoming Sr for my age. I don’t know everything. I am still growing. I want to find the right fit in my college choice continuing to pursue my love of rowing and strong Business focused curriculum. Scholarships are absolutely necessary for me to attend college as my mother is a single provider and real estate agent. The Covid 19 has had horrible effects on us. I have a sister one year older attending college in the Fall. I understand It is a huge hurdle to be a single parent with two kids in school at same time.
Thank you for any help you might provide
