Personal Statement

I am a varsity rower for the Chicago Rowing Foundation (Chicago, IL). I started my rowing journey in middle school when my parents signed me up to learn how to row for the summer. After that, I fell in love with the sport. I immediately joined CRF's novice team at the start of my freshman year in hopes of advancing. Over time, I moved up to varsity, and that's where I settled into the fact that I want to row in college. I am hoping to connect with colleges in hopes of being recruited in the near future as a lightweight rower.
