Jack Coulson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! 

Thanks for learning more about me. I'm excited by the opportunity to make a boat go fast at your school. 

A bit about me: I am 6 foot 3, I weigh 200 lbs and have a 2k score of 6:19.1. 

I just raced for Team Canada on July 15-16 at the International Rowing Challenge. I won GOLD for Canada in the 4x, a SILVER in mixed 8+, and a 5th place finish in 2-.

This wasn't my fist win at an international regatta. I first won gold for Team Canada at age 15 at CanAmMex in 2024. I'm excited at the possibility of bringing this international experience to your boathouse and hopefully rowing for you as a member of your crew. While I have extensive sculling experience, I can row both sides - I placed 3rd in the men's U19 2- at the National Rowing Championships.

Currently, I am dedicated to training hard as part of Ontario’s NextGen development program. While my 2k is one of the country’s best for my age, and I’ve seen success nationally and internationally, I’m also keen to train at an elite training program and be the best athlete and crewmate I can be.

In January 2025, I was awarded an International Achievement Award from Rowing Canada as part of its 2024 Awards of Excellence. This award was to recognize my 1st place finish in the 2x, and 3rd place finish in the 4x for Team Canada at the CanAmMex Regatta.
