Quentin Basiren '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to graduate with a science degree with a great GPA that will allow me to pursue a post graduate degree in a medical field.  I am a great candidate for your team because I am very dedicated to reaching my goals both educational and athletic.  I will always give 100% to myself and my coaches.  I am a very caring, compassionate empathetic person who will make a great teammate for your team.  I love to learn from others and I love to share what I have learned with others.  I wanted to row so much for my high school, that I started the rowing team at my school.  I am really hoping to encourage students who may not have thought of rowing to give it a try.  I have played competitive hockey at the AA level and Jr. B level. I competed at the Ontario Championships for 2015 and won the silver medal in our U19 men's double, and also a silver medal in our U19 men's quad. I would love to find a school with a nice balance between a great education and great success in rowing.
