I have been rowing since my freshman year of high-school, and I have loved it since the first day. The relationships the sport has given me and all the fun I have had on the team both mean the world to me, and I want to continue creating relationships and memories like that in college. While I may not have been rowing for as long as a lot of other athletes, I do not feel that it has affected my success. I was elected captain of the team in my second season and in my second year of rowing I am already attending USRowing Selection Development Camp. This amount of success in such little time demonstrates my dedication to the sport. I hope to row on the US national team, and attending college for rowing will be a step in the right direction.
