Academic

I am currently a junior at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD [1]. My weighted GPA is 4.74 and my unweighted GPA is 3.89. I’ll be taking the SAT on August 30, 2023.  I’m interested in colleges and universities that offer degrees with a focus on technology, finance, and economics.

Rowing

I’m a dedicated rower and I’m always always working on improving my strength, technique, and speed. I’m 6’3” and weigh 165 lbs. This is my third year on the Whitman Rowing team [2]. We have a fall, winter, spring, and summer season and row at the Thompson Boat Center [3]. My 2K erg time on March 06, 2023 was 6:48 and my goal is to be in the low 6:30’s at the end of our Spring 2023 season. I’m looking forward to rowing at a college that competes at the highest level and supports student athletes in both their academic and athletic pursuits. I’d like to learn more about college and university rowing camps offered at the end of July 2023.

Personal

I was born in Washington, DC and in addition to English I speak Greek and Spanish. My younger brother Joaquin is in 7th grade and just started rowing for Whitman. When I’m not studying, rowing, or in the gym, I can be found walking our two Yorkies Max and Typhon around the neighborhood. My personal interests include computer security, ethical hacking, finance, history, and current events.
