Chase - ERG - Feb...Personal Statement
I began rowing in 8th grade as part of Moorestown Rowing Club's Learn-To-Row program.
I immediately grew to love the sport, and had early success in an ERG competition in Atlantic City.
In the 3 years I have rowed, I have qualified for Youth Nationals each year:
- 2023: U16 8+
- 2024: U17 4+
- 2025: U17 4x and U19 8+
In 2024, my U17 4+ boat qualified for the A Final at Nationals, believed to be a first in Moorestown Rowing Club history.
In 2025, I was the only athlete on my team to race in two events at Mid-Atlantics, and I qualified for Nationals in both boats. My U17 4x boat is undefeated in competition this year.
I look forward to competing at Nationals, and to competing with the Penn AC Gold club this summer.
