- Will be coxing the men's varsity 4. This is a letter from a teammates mother- to my mother. Jennette, Hi! It's Jen, Clint and Ben's mom. I wanted to share with you some comments Clint made, and if you would, pass them along to Jerod. He said Jerod did the most amazing job of coxing them through the race. It was a thrill of a lifetime, he said, and much comfort by all of them that Jerod was at the helm. My sister from Los Angeles was there to see the race. She was texting me since I didn't go so as to stay home with our youngest. Her texts were like "OMG! You wouldn't believe all the oars getting tangled in the 30s!!" "OMG! It's happening now in the 50s!!" "Jenny! I hope they get through here without a mishap, boats are piling up in the 60s and slamming into one another". Then, "Here's his boat----They made it through --no mishap---great rowing!!" Later on, "I can't believe they got through without all the problems other boats were having. People were swearing and yelling at one another. Families were laughing on the bridge listening to them below. But, your boat just went through with no problem." As a parent, knowing my son was in a boat with your son gave me such incredible piece of mind. So much could have happened, and didn't because Jerod was prepared, organized, confident, and ready. Thank you for sharing him with all of us on the boys team! I can't wait to hear his college selection process because he was a master of the water ---and wind---on Sunday. Hugs, Jen

Yes. All core classes are honors. By the end of the school year 2017-2018, I will have taken 4 college classes. American gov't (dual credit), Social Psychology, College Algebra, and Interpersonal communication (dual credit) through Middle TN State University. This summer at East TN State through governor’s school- I will receive college credit in Biology and Statistics.Are you in AP/IB classes?
