My rowing journey began in my freshman year, where I immediately fell in love with the sport. I started out in eights and fours, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong foundation. However, it was in the quad where I truly found my passion for the sport. I started in the U17 quad sophomore fall and moved up to the varsity quad, which is what I am currently rowing, sophomore spring. One highlight of my rowing career so far was securing a commendable fourth place at Scholastic Nationals in the junior varsity quad event. I have also had a significant amount of time in the single, having raced in the U17 single for 2022 Summer Nationals and the youth single for 2023 Summer Nationals. Most recently I got to race at Youth Nationals in the mens youth double and I got 10th. I consistently work hard, pushing myself to achieve my goals. I am motivated not only by my deep love for the sport but also by the belief that I can make a significant contribution to my highschool team and eventually a collegiate team. Beyond rowing, I am committed to pushing myself in hard classes and excelling in every class I take. I look forward to continuing to push my high school rowing career further and eventually landing on a collegiate team.
