My name is Nicholas Davis and I am an aspiring college level rower.
Rowing has always been a part of my family and I took a large portion of inspiration from my grandfather who has always served as a role model for me. When I eventually began rowing, I fit right in and got a knack for the sport. I decided to continue the sport into my sophomore year and have been enjoying rowing even more since!
As a rower, I learned that having to devote so much time to one sport requires certain traits that I see not only in myself but many rowers around me. This was shown by myself and many of my teammates during our state competition where many of us could only get there through decisive goal making, hard work, and a strong passion for what it is we do. This is why I love the sport so much and why I wish to continue to row in college!
