My goals for college are to row for my school. Currently, I have a passion for history and will major in that area. However, I am still weighing all my options and plan to decide next year. 

What makes me the ideal candidate for your team are three things: My drive, dedication, and attitude. My drive keeps me focused during all the tough moments. My dedication to the team and boat enables me to work hard through practices and competitions. My positive attitude helps keep the morale of my boat and team uplifted.  

The character traits which set me apart from others are my loyalty, reliability, and my humbleness. Loyalty matters because rowing is not an individual sport. It is about your boatmates and team. I am reliable by being able to row both sides well. I am humble when we succeed and believe in exhibiting good sportsmanship.
