Kareem Mulkey '18 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started school, I've been playing soccer. I first picked up the game at the age of 5, under the coaching of my dad, and I've loved it ever since. I strive for nothing but greatness and would love to take the next step in my soccer career and play at a collegiate level. I started out playing forward as a kid and scored many goals, then for club I played left back for years and created/scored goals as well as prevented them. Later in my club career I moved between left midfield and striker. So I've had experience in multiple positions making me a versatile player. Now in club and High School I consistently play left mid where I create goals or score them myself. What makes me unique from other recruits is my speed and creativity. On the wing and up top I make life difficult for the other team with my smart use of speed and creativity and vision. I'm a smart player on the field and in the classroom. In the classroom I find my interests in math and science. As far as my character I love to laugh and smile and make others laugh which helps me get along with others well. I'm also very quiet and most times I sit back and listen, which helps me learn observe and learn quick. However, come game day is when I get serious and focused.
