Talon Stanley '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Talon Stanley and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. When I am not playing soccer, I am an avid hunter and fisherman. I enjoy camping, hiking and boating. I have outstanding physical and mental strength and enjoy working hard. I have been playing soccer since the age of two and started playing competitively at the age of 8. My club team is the Cook Inlet Velocity 98 Boys. I am team captain and just recently was awarded the USYS  National Presidents MVP at the National Championships held in South Carolina. My team is the first boys soccer team from Alaska to ever win a USYS Regional and National tournament. I also play for the Alaska 98 ODP team. This was my 4th year traveling to the ODP Championships.This year I made the leading scorer board. I have also attended Region IV camp three times. I am an excellent student because I work hard and know how to balance my soccer and academics. My favorite subjects are science and math. My goal is to play Division I or Division II Soccer.
