Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are to earn a four year degree from a strong university with a Major in Vet Sciences or Pre-Vet, as well as be able to play soccer at the highest level.  After my 4 years I will be applying to a University where I will be working to get a DVM. Doing well in school is important to me, as well as playing soccer. I would be a good candidate for a team because I have a strong style of play in which I can dribble through defenders, slip through balls to strikers, and swing the ball efficiently from one side to the other. I enjoy playing the position I do which helps me and my team succeed. I am a firm believer of sacrificing for my team instead of worrying about individual performance. At the end of the day, it is about putting points on the board, and I do whatever my team needs me to do in order to ensure a win. I can get forward using my speed allowing me to put the ball in the net. I have a bold personality and a good leader, especially on the pitch. I'm a strong, consistent player who always looks to outplay his opponent. I have good grades that help represent the kind of student I am.

With my current team we fought to get to the State League level in Arizona.   We have had an amazing season.  We finished 2nd in our State League Division.  Due to our success in State League 2, we have moved up to Arizona State League 1.

As a Freshman I made JV.  I earned MVP for the JV team.   I was fortunate to be pulled up to play on Varsity and letter.  I learned what it meant to be on Varsity, and the work ethic needed to be at that level of soccer, I also learned how important it is to work as a team and communicate throughout a game.  I even gained a trait of not giving up even if we were losing and to always be positive and boost my teammates.  My Sophomore and Junior year I made the Varsity and was able to earn another Letter.

As I worked hard at getting better at soccer, I worked hard on my grades and was on honor roll all 3 years.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
