My name is Jamie Black, class of 2022 at Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson, AZ. At CDO, I have been a starter on varsity since my freshman year, while also playing and leading as captain for the past three years for FC Tucson (‘04 Black). Our team is the two-time defending state champions and finished #1 in APL this year. I scored the tying goal from center back in our first state cup final, then scored our final PK to win the game. Then in our second state cup final, I assisted my teammate to win the game 1-0. Along with my soccer achievements, I have maintained a 4.2/4.0 GPA while being active in Student Government as the Student Body Vice President. I have many other interests including being an active member in my churches youth group, Younglife, being apart of Tucson’s National Charity League Chapter, as well as lettering in Varsity Tennis for the past three years, and earning the 4A Region Player of the Year.
