I started playing soccer at 18-months old in the 2-year-old program. It's been a passion ever since. I've enjoyed playing other sports throughout my childhood, flag-football and track, but at age 11, I decided to focus just on soccer since it's what I eat, sleep and breathe. My mom grew up in Argentina so I was raised to love futbol and am a big fan of the Argentine players who have been my role models growing up. Both my parents grew up playing competitive soccer so it was taught to me at an early age and it was something we all did together. Soccer has given me the opportunity to travel and I've been able to play in Regionals in Hawaii and travel to England twice to play against academies there. One of the highlights of my soccer career so far was scoring two goals against Leicester City and one against Manchester City.
Attacking mid and right or left wing are my favorite positions. I can play either side but I love the middle because of the tactical play. I'm finally starting to grow but have adjusted to my height difference in being scrappy and aggressive and being first to the ball. My opponent usually underestimates me. High school soccer has been great for me since our program focuses a lot on strength training and it is really helping me.
I have other goals for after college, so I am looking for a school with a pre-pharmacy, chemistry, or biology degree as well as a good soccer team. My grades are important to me because of the career I want to choose after college. Soccer helps me stay focused. I'd like a team with a program to help student-athletes do well not just on the field but in the classroom too. I'm looking for a coach who is involved with the team and who is committed to me just as I will commit to him.
Being from Arizona, I would prefer a school in a warmer weather climate but would definitely consider a cold weather school for the right fit. My family is very supportive so traveling across the country would not be a problem since I know they will visit me. My goal is a Division I school but I'd think about a Division II or III if it had the right program for me.
Thanks for considering me.
