Chance Dorsey '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach,

My name is Chance Dorsey, a high school junior on defense playing Left and Right Back for my team in a small town in Arkansas. I’m passionate about soccer and aim to play at the collegiate level, eventually aspiring to play professionally. Born in Germany, due to my mom military career, and having lived between Arkansas and Florida, I have a unique perspective on the game. Although I started playing soccer in 9th grade on varsity, my hard work and dedication have helped me improve rapidly. This summer, I had the opportunity alongside, my twin brother who shares the same passion as me, to coach youth through our local boys and girls club program.  Through that experience, I learned the importance of patience, encouragement, positive attitude and teamwork.  I stand out due to my eagerness to learn, positive attitude, and support for my teammates. I balance academics and soccer well, and I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to a college soccer program.
