Dean Nassar '27 Recruiting Profile

Coaches, I fell in love playing soccer when I was very young. I love the game, playing and watching it. My goal is to attend a university with a D1 soccer program as my ultimate aim is to become a professional soccer player. What sets me apart as a candidate for your soccer team is a combination of character, athletics, and academics. In terms of character, I understand the importance of teamwork and respect for coaches, teammates, and opponents. I'm a team player and am always open to the comments I receive from my Coach. Athletically, I bring a competitive edge and versatility to any team I play with. I continue to train rigorously to excel in various positions and roles within the team. I train daily whether with my team, by myself, or at the gym. My abilities to pick out a penetrating pass and set up my teammates with scoring opportunities are my strongest attributes. 

Academically, I maintain a strong commitment to my studies and I understand the demands of balancing athletics with academics. I am currently on an engineering track but am still exploring different subjects to major in when at university. Fortunately, my High School runs on a trimester schedule which allows me to take more courses. I feel I still have time to decide on what I want to major in once at university.
