edgar salamanca '14 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing competitive soccer since i was 6 years old. I've always played with kids older than me which helped me a lot with my touch, aggressiveness, fast movement, and creativeness. Since i was young i loved watching soccer as much as i love playing it. I was always told impossible is nothing. From when i kicked my first soccer ball and stepped on the pitch with my first youth soccer team i knew right away that i wanted to play professional soccer. I don't care where i play, i just want to play. Starting my first year as a freshman at La Jolla High, my goal was to graduate high school, get into college, play soccer in college, and hopefully get drafted to the MLS. I know to achieve this i will have to go through   obstacles but if i want to fulfill my dreams i have to be determined and willing. Small steps is my ride there. Soccer is my dream.
