Christopher Arias '22 Recruiting Profile

I believe that I am different, I believe that I have a mindset like no other because no matter what I do I always try to improve. I always tell myself no matter how far I get, if I ever make it big, if I fail or achieve a fantastic opportunity I will never stop pushing. I never seem to be satisfied with what I’ve done no matter how much I am told so I keep going. Becoming a pro goalkeeper will be a huge leap but only one of many achievements I have to go through to get even better as a goalkeeper as well as a person.  I am a dedicated, disciplined, and coachable individual who will do what it takes to pursue my dream.  I have been playing since I was 3-4 years old and haven’t stopped. My biggest inspirations in my life are my friends and family. None of my family members except my mom, who attended for a semester have gone to college and I think it will do them proud by attending and becoming a successful individual; I hope I can pay them back someday. My loving friends make everyday even better knowing that I have them by my side or to help me when I’m feeling low.
 
  I am quite sociable, someone you can easily get along with inside and outside the classroom and athletics.  I can hold my players accountable on a team as well as building that trust between each other making the team even stronger. I don’t want to just be known as one of the greatest, I wanna be known as someone who you can depend on or talk to anything about, I believe everyone deserves a helping hand and some loving care just to brighten up their day because you never know what they could be going through.  I walk around with a smile on my face, crack jokes in hopes of making people laugh just to make their day better and even mine.  

  When it comes to soccer I push the limits I don’t have, I believe that there’s always room for improvement, striving everyday to keep every shot out of my net. I’m unique in a way, I care about the ones I love and will do what it takes to keep playing the sport I love.
