Iain Dunham '25 Recruiting Profile

Be ready. Have energy. Make an impact!  That is my focus when I am stepping onto the field or engaging in the classroom. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old, and I love this game. Though I have not always made the top team in the club, I have improved my skills, efforts and vision to change the course of games as both a starter and when coming off the bench.  On my club team, we won the Presidents Cup for our division in 2021.  When we played in a regional tournament, an opposing coach gave me an excellence pin for my attitude and great play. 

As a freshman, I made the junior varsity team and as a sophomore, I made varsity.  Our teamwork and drive led to a 13-game win streak and a strong finish as league champions. I am currently working hard to improve my skills so that I can assist both my club and high school teams in the next two years. 

Academically, I selected a high school known for its strong engineering program (and which I am thoroughly enjoying). I continue to investigate and research the fields to narrow down the type of engineering that excites me and for which I have interest and skills. When I am not working in the classroom or on the field, I enjoy other interests and volunteer with the Young Men’s Service League for organizations that serve my community. I am looking forward to continuing on both my academic and athletic paths to find the best school that will fit my goals.
