Jack Barkocy '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! Ever since I started playing soccer competitively, I have always wanted to play at the next level. I believe that one of the most important aspects of soccer is practice - You practice how you play. Every training session I give as much effort as I would in a State Championship game, and I expect the same of those around me. However, physical skill from practice is only a piece of being a well-rounded, elite competitor. The other key component for me is discipline. Whether it's discipline with my training regimen, my eating habits, accepting an incorrect call on the field, or discipline with tackling a crucial school assignment; self-discipline helps me to be the successful athlete and student I am today. I know this quality will serve me well as I go forward with pursuing a career in the business field, and continuing on with my soccer experience.
