I started playing soccer at age 4 in North Yorkshire England where I also played rugby. I played on the field as a striker until age 10 when I moved in the net and fell in love with being a goalkeeper. The responsibility of being that last man the team counts on and the physical side of being a goalkeeper is what draws me to it.
I am an aggressive keeper that is also smart and knows when to commit and when to not. I strive to be a leader on and off the field by showing good leadership while also being a motivator on the pitch. During every practice I do my best to be the hardest working and most committed player you will find on the team.
Off the field I work hard to study and maintain my grades while being involved in other extra-curricular activities. I am a member of the athletic council. The council consist of selected captains from each sport to meet once a month and talk about conflicts around the school and how to resolve them. Last year we developed a captain’s handbook listing responsibilities, guidance, and conduct of being a captain. I am also a leader of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes
I want to attend a college that is the right fit for me academically for the education and career I would like to pursue. On the field a soccer program that will push me to grow and be a better soccer player and person.
