Liam Cleary '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches and thanks for reading my profile.  

Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a ball at my feet. I started playing premiere soccer when I was 10 years old. Since then, I have been playing offense. I am quick, agile and am able to sprint to get the ball up the field to make a play. I take on players 1:1 comfortably when at goal. For my high school, I play as an offensive wing.  I’m now also on a premiere team, and we are ranked 5th in Connecticut. For this team, I play striker, offensive wing or attacking mid. At times, I play all 3 positions in one game!

I am ambitious, diligent and have a lot of heart for the game of soccer. I have helped coach soccer clinics as a volunteer for younger age groups in my community. I have great sportsmanship, am a good student, and am an all-round strong athlete. I work hard at every practice and take pride at winning every ball. I hope to find a school that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I am determined to play at the collegiate level. It would be a great opportunity to continue to play in college while also obtaining an education.
