K.Marshall Butler '23 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been dedicated to soccer for almost a decade now, and I’ve decided that I want to continue playing the game with even more dedication and at a higher level. I had success in my first year of high school soccer by earning a starting position on varsity as a striker within two games. In my first season, I was the second leading scorer as a freshman with plenty of assists.

I take pride in being a top multi-sport student athlete at my high school and I want to continue playing soccer in college. I believe that it is important that I do well in the classroom, on the field, and on the court.  I especially enjoy studying science and history and I am looking into majors in these areas in college.

I stand out as a student-athlete because of my good grades, my athleticism, and my competitiveness. It’s about building connections with coaches, teammates, and sportsmanship. I’m a very versatile player who is always hustling and who is dedicated to winning. No matter where I choose to continue my soccer career, I’m ready to give it everything I have.
