Soccer has been my passion since before I can even remember. When the ball is at my feet, all I feel is joy. My love for the beautiful game continues to grow as I strive to be the best I can possibly be. My dream to play college soccer is still my biggest goal in life and I will continue to put the effort needed to reach it. Throughout the years, I noticed that hard work and mentality beat talent when talent is not working hard. Since then, I have focused on having the right mentality to stay determined and keep my head down. I will put in the work to be the best I can be and reach my goal soon.
I have very fast feet and focus on maintaining my speed to play at the fast pace that is needed in soccer. My conditioning and work rate are two things that all of my coaches so far have praised me for. Along with those attributes, I am a team leader who does their best to lift up ALL of their teammates while motivating everyone to win. I have been captain of my club team and travel teams and know how to do what is best for the team. Learning is a major part of the game, when you feel like you know everything, there will always be more to learn. No matter what, I value listening and applying what I learn into my game and into life. When I get my opportunity to play in college, I want coaches that will make me strive to be the best person on and off the field.
In the classroom, I apply my good listening and learning skills. I really prioritize getting my school work done and doing it top tier. I withhold a 4.0 GPA Unweighted and take all honors courses, while also taking AP European History. One thing that taking an AP as just a sophomore has taught me is that doing good in school will take you far and it is just as important to be good in the classroom as it is on the field. I am looking for a school that will push me on the field but also in the classroom. Above all else, I want to make my parents proud and become a role model and someone to look up to for my siblings and future generations.
