Sebastien Marseille '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name Is Sebastien Marseille. I am currently playing for GZS soccer In Bridgeport, CT. I have been playing soccer since I was about 5 years old. During that time I never played in organized soccer, because I only liked playing it for fun and nothing more but fast forward to about 7th grade. That's when I decided I wanted to play for my middle schools team. since I loved the sport so much, I wasn't very good compared to some of the other players on the team. But that didn't stop me from joining anyways. When I went to some of the try outs, the coaches really loved how I played as a defender they liked how I pressed onto the ball, they liked how I would use my strength to get the ball off of the opposing team. But the one thing that I was missing was my dribbling,  shooting those were the two key tools that I wished I had back then. After graduating from 8th grade I was really interested in the high school so then I decided that I would try out for the team In sophomore year, I tried out but then I was quickly cut from the team on the 2nd day of tryouts I was really frustrated. That didn't stop me from training and trying to get better at the sport. Since I haven't played organized soccer in a long time since quarantine. I decided that joining a travel team would be the best option to prepare for my Junior year . The team that I would join would be Generation Z soccer club, since joining that soccer team I've improved a lot from when I tried out.
