Mohammed Cherif '20 Recruiting Profile

 I’m 20 years old, from Marseille, France. I came to the US about 4 years ago, went to high school here In Connecticut and graduated in 2019 from West Haven High. Played Varsity soccer in High School 4 years. It hasn’t been easy for me living as independent student.I took a gap year, to work and save up money. Same time I joined different soccer clubs to keep playing and stay in shape. My goal in soccer field is to make it as successful professional and get to go ahead and finish my studies here in the US. Having me in your team can not only bring a massive understanding of the beautiful game. The difference between me and other players is that I’ve played football in several different countries and competed in different levels. One of them is England, Spain and Wales. As I’ve played for France U12 till U16 at a quiet a high level, played for Havier Academic in France before coming here in the US. I can play on either side of the wing as RB or LB using my speed and quick feet as one of my trait, when it comes to getting pass my defender and creating goal scoring chances. I’m very effective when it comes to attacking in the final third using my pace and knowledge as an advantage to either get on the scoresheet or assist my teammates. Therefore I’m a very hardworking player as I not only attack but I also bravely defend when it comes to defending.
