I look forward to the challenge of becoming a college student and representing my school. Every time I am in my bedroom, I see a picture of me from my first soccer team holding a soccer ball that is bigger than my head. I enjoy every chance I get to play soccer. I have played soccer for over a decade now, and I wish to fulfill my dream by continuing my soccer career throughout college. I have represented my middle school and high school on the field, and I look forward to representing my college as well.
I am a great team player, whether it is passing a ball up the field to a teammate or helping my classmate with their homework. I led my middle school and Junior Varsity high school teams as a freshman in points. I have helped coach my younger sister’s soccer teams and volunteered my time with the Kirkwood Soccer Club’s Top Soccer Program, where developmentally handicapped children were able to play soccer. I train and participate year round, whether it is high school, club/travel, or indoor. I also competed in other sports such as track, tennis and swimming along with soccer. Not only am I a player on the field, but I am a referee. Having the chance to continue playing soccer motivates me to do my best in, and out, of school.
Not only do I want to play among the best of players, but amongst the hardest working students in school. I would prefer to attend a division one or two university. Currently my major is undecided, but I plan on pursuing a field in math or science. My education is very important to my family and I. My mother is currently starting a graduate program in college, so it would be nice to get as much financial assistance as possible.
I am extremely goal oriented, and I hope to pursue my goals, striving to achieve more each and every day. I am looking forward to continuing my soccer and academic careers. Thank you for your consideration.
