Matthew Jones '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Jones and I am a switch footed player that can play anywhere on the field (Main position being Outside Back). I have loved the game of soccer ever since I could walk and continue that passion today.

 I am highly coachable, I have a work ethic that shows during every practice and every game. I have been put in many difficult scenarios in game, but am known for my composure while playing. I bring a tons of physicality and fearlessness when it comes to the defensive and offensive sided of the game.  

I am a good candidate for your team because of my strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to being the best player I can be. I am always looking to support and motivate my teammates, and am very willing to put in the extra effort to help the team succeed. I also always have a very positive attitude and great composure on and off the field. 

In terms of character, I am a highly motivated and dedicated player who is always striving to improve. I also try to be a positive role model and leader, both on and off the field. In terms of athletics, my speed, agility, determination, and fearlessness sets me apart from other players, and I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to whatever team I am put on. 

 In terms of academics, I have a strong academic record and I am committed to maintaining a high level of academic achievement throughout my collegiate career.
