I love this game. I have been playing it for almost half of my life, and during this time all my choices have aimed at making me a better player. A club team, then ODP, then MLS Next. Then, at an ID camp in the UK, I was scouted by some pro-clubs. FIFA regulations prohibit moving for soccer reasons. However, a boarding school in the UK who had seen me play offered a solution – a soccer and academic scholarship to their school to play for their 1st XI, and placement at a prominent local club team to continue my development. Uprooting myself, at 15, from my home and family was difficult, and I only did it because I am exceptionally serious about being the best player I can possibly be. The decision has worked out very well. I made enormous strides in my overall development.
Academic excellence is also very important to me. Before leaving the US, I had a perfect GPA for my middle and high school courses. In the UK, there is no GPA – everything depends on final ‘A-level’ exams. A-Levels are hard – 3 A-levels add up to 45 university-level credits in the US – and I was delighted with my result (A in History, A in Politics, B in Mathematics).
I have natural gifts and I work hard. I am big, quick, and athletic. I am an avid student of the game, and I catch on fast. I am a leader, and I am certain I can make your team better. If you give me the opportunity to prove this, I won’t let you down.
