Jared Watt '23 Recruiting Profile

With the athletic ability God has given me, I have played soccer every year since I was 3.5 years old. I also played basketball and baseball throughout middle school and high school. I was voted as Captain over several years by my teammates and MVP by my coaches. As a middle schooler I joined our Santa Rosa Christian School soccer team and was a starter every year. We won the Panhandle Christian Conference 3 of my 4 years of high school. I have a wide range of experience playing for AYSO for several years, helping my team win the Coastal Soccer Invitational in May of 2022. I received All-Conference and All-Tournament awards for the Panhandle Christian Conference and 2022 NACA D1 Tournament. I joined Pensacola Futbol Club in the spring of 2023 which led to a forward position on the National Premier Soccer League U19 Pelicans, 2023 Gulf Coast Champions. My love for the game motivates me to strive for excellence in personal growth both on and off the pitch. I am known for my speed, quick feet and hops-always a picture of me levitating in a game- and am skilled in tracking a corner kick to score a header. I normally play forward but can also control the midfield and assist on the wing as needed. I would like to pursue a business degree while continuing to participate in higher level soccer competitions.
