JOSE QUINE '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jose Nicolas Quine (Nico), and I'm from Orlando, FL.

I have played soccer since I was about 5 or 6 years old, and have always had a great passion for this beautiful sport. I was originally born in Cali, Colombia, a city where it can easily be said that soccer is a huge part of its culture, and also influences people in many ways. Later on, at the age of 9, I moved to the United States with the same mentality of wanting to continue my long journey of soccer. I have always known that I would be happy with a ball at my feet and that has not changed. I have played club soccer starting from small recreational leagues, advancing on to competitive, selective teams. I am currently a High school senior, representing Timber Creek Varsity boys soccer. I have also played at the premier level at Weston FC, FC America, and now at Florida Kraze Krush (FKK). Therefore, having seen all these experiences, I am ready to take things to the next level. Ideally, I would like to go to a good college with a respected academic and athletic reputation, as well as a great "college town" atmosphere preferably in FL . I am currently pursuing a college among divisions 1,2, or 3 that offer good programs among the engineering, medical, or social communications fields as I would choose my career among one of those. Also, I will require to find a school which can provide me with great financial help, as my family will have high need. Lastly, I would just like to say I am very passionate about soccer. I try to learn from every teammate, every practice, and always try to make a good contribution towards my team. I can also be expected to always be respectful to coaches, teammates, staff on and off the field, as well as the classroom.
