Lisian Shehu '16 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing soccer at a very young age I have set my goal to reach the college level and then hopefully fulfilling my dream by playing professional soccer. I have 7 years of Club Soccer experience, 1 year of junior varsity high school experience and entering my 3rd year of varsity high school experience going into my senior year, playing 2 of the last years as school captain. In club soccer, I play for the Palm Beach Soccer Academy Nomads U18 team. 
My preferred position is central midfield playing as an attacking midfielder but I also feel very comfortable playing on the left or right sides of midfield as well as a defensive midfielder. I have great vision, an eye for a pass and am great in possession whether its dribbling past players or passing the ball. Also I'm tactically very good in understanding the game making me coachable at a physical level and tactical level, as well as allowing me to be very versatile. I work hard in training to improve my game and to improve as a team.
Away from soccer, I go to Suncoast High School the number 8 ranked school in the nation as ranked by the Washington Post. I am currently dual enrolled in the Computer Science Program and IB program going into my Senior Year. I am looking to attend a college that will challenge me both in sports and in academics, and make me better in both categories. In the end, I want to reach the highest possible level as a soccer player and maybe someday live my dream of becoming not only a college player but also a professional one.
