Sebastian has been playing organized soccer since the age of four. After playing at the community select level, he joined Tier 1 Power FC Academy, Toronto, ON Canada from 2012 to 2018 (https://www.powersoccer.ca/academy). At Power FC, he played center mid, attacking mid, and striker. Since Sebastian moved to Georgia, USA in 2018, he's played center mid for Atlanta Fire United, SCCL 2004 Elite (https://www.atlantaunitedsoccer.com/). In addition to academy and club soccer, he participated in training camps with pro coaches from teams including PSG (France), SC Internacional (Brazil), Fulham FC (UK), RCD Espanyol (Spain), and others.
Sebastian plays fast-paced fundamental soccer, keeping possession, passing the ball around, with abundant off-ball movement to create the best chances to score. On the field, he distributes the ball trying to open up space on the field to create goal-scoring opportunities for the team. Sebastian brings high energy to keep possession, and recover the ball when lost. He is the hardest worker on his team, respectful and accountable. Sebastian leads by example and expects the same from his teammates. He is a coach's voice on the field with strong on-field oral communication.
Sebastian's soccer philosophy is that, for a team to be successful, players need to rely on each other and play a simple game based on strong fundamentals.
Sebastian has a solid academic record, and is fluent in English and French, while also speaking some Spanish and Serbian.
Sebastian has Canadian and Italian citizenship.
