My Name is Drew Linam and I am a 6'0 165 lbs center back in the class of 2024. I think my strongest attributes are by far my speed, Game IQ, Ability to win 1v1 situations, ability to make tackles, passing vision, athleticism, and physical strength. I have a very high work ethic and am willing to do whatever it takes to better myself. For example, I wake up every morning at 5:00 to go to the gym. I train to become stronger and I also work on bettering my athleticism. As a Center back it is uncommon to be as quick as I am, I think this makes me a great candidate for any team. My speed allows me to chase down tackles, get in front of the striker and allow my keeper to come collect the ball, prevent teams from being able to play clinical through balls, and it enables me to beat the striker to every ball. My game IQ helps me to make quick and smart decisions of when to step, when to slide, and when to stand up as the defender. Also my game IQ combined with my passing vision allows me to see things before or as they are happening and make the right pass to put my team into clinical area. My Athleticism and physical strength able me to win balls out of the air and on the ground. Also when under pressure I am able to hold the ball up and find a pass. I Think that all of these things make me a great candidate for any team and I hope you do as well.
