I grew up playing baseball like my father and over time I discovered many different sports, yet none made me happier than soccer. In my early youth, I played baseball, basketball, and football. I soon discovered soccer from a friend and started off playing in recreational league and quickly saw my skills could be tested in travel/club soccer. As I started playing travel soccer at age 10, my desire to improve and love for the sport grew immediately. After a couple years into travel soccer, I found myself exploring and playing other positions such as striker and center-mid. During this time, I was able to learn and develop the skills and mindset of players in these positions. With my gained knowledge I was able to better understand and predict the game as a whole and use it in my current play. I would describe my playstyle as a modern version of a “shot stopping, sweeper keeper.” I can be seen as calm and composed under pressure with the ball at my feet and can also get the job done in the box. I pledge plenty of opportunities for offense and provide extra support for the defense. I pride myself on discipline and understanding, which makes me very coachable and quick to learn. I have a very likable personality which makes me easy to get along with. I see myself as a leader through my preparation, match play, communication, and pure love for the game. I truly owe all to the game and the opportunities it’s opened for me. I hope to play soccer in college and continue this journey through the world of soccer. I hope to share my talents and passion with a team and college, if given an opportunity. Thank you for your time!
