I began playing soccer when I was four years old. Ever since I played my first match, I’ve fallen in love with the game. Playing soccer allowed me to free my mind of school and other situations where I can just be myself and have fun. Soccer also taught me to become determined, self-motivated, a team player, and to never give up. Not only did I apply those qualities to soccer but also my personal life including school. These traits have allowed me to excel academically. As of my junior year, I’ve taken eight AP classes as well as Gifted/Honor classes. I also speak French which I’ve been learning since I was six years old.
I love challenges and I want to continue to be challenged and pushed academically and athletically in college. Whether it's soccer or another path in the future, I want to work as hard as I can no matter what is put in front of me in order to achieve my goals and become successful. My soccer journey to date along with the network and friendships I’ve built have been priceless but I know the best is yet to come as I continue my journey into college.
